LED Lights
The VFR800X Crossrunner’s distinctive x-shape headlight uses a bright ‘white light’ LED for improved visibility and beam penetration. This unique design is combined with the led taillight to reduce electrical drain on the engine.
Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC)
The Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) system carefully monitors rear wheel traction, using smooth engine management to ensure that the tyre maintains grip in slippery conditions. Controlled from the handlebar, it features three modes selection, which appear within the LCD instrumentation.
The power to escape
The 782cc liquid-cooled 16-valve DOHC 90° V4-VTEC engine generates more low-to-midrange torque and peak power. Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control (VTEC) operates one pair of inlet/exhaust valves per cylinder at low rpm, switching to four as it revs.
Stay informed
The LCD dash uses a reverse display against a white LED backlight. The speedometer/tachometer are housed together and there’s also a gear position indicator, fuel consumption/cruising range indicator, clock, ambient temperature gauge and twin trip meters.
Enhanced comfort
The 43mm Honda Multi-Action System (HMAS) telescopic fork features 131mm axle travel and offers smooth spring preload adjustment plus rebound damping adjustment. The HMAS gas-charged rear shock operates through Pro-Link and lightweight aluminium Pro-arm swingarm.
Optimum grip
Stylish Fine Die-Cast (FDC) hollow aluminium wheels use 120/70 and 180/55 front and rear tyres for maximum grip and mid-corner feedback.
Be prepared
The VFR800X Crossrunner is an all-seasons machine, with 5-stage heated grips offering modulated control – including dash indicator – for use in a variety of conditions.
Peace of mind
Dual 310mm front discs are gripped by radial-mount two-piston brake calipers and managed by Honda’s Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) for consistent stopping power on slippery road surfaces.

ALL ROUND PERFORMANCE

The V4-VTEC engine produces more torque and power, with a characterful feel and unique, thrilling howl through its 4-2-1-1 exhaust as revs rise.
Housing it is a chassis honed in the VFR800F; including the 43mm Honda Multi-Action System (HMAS) telescopic fork, featuring 131mm axle travel and stepless spring preload adjustment. This combines with the gas charged rear-shock to create a ferocious do-it-all adventure-sport tool that welds all-round practicality to focused performance.
